You could say we have our own “unicorn” here at the zoo. In the animal kingdom, the greater one-horned rhino is often referred to as a “unicorn” because the scientific name for the greater one-horned rhino is Rhinoceros unicornis, uni meaning one and cornis meaning horn in Latin. While the rhino’s majestic horn is on its nose rather than its forehead, our own rhino, Glenn, can be fondly called a “chubby unicorn.”
